Why Keeping A Hobby, Projects, and Focused Interests Journal Is Beneficial
·
I just started keeping a journal for my focused interests, hobbies, and projects. I've got 15 entries locked in so far.
Keeping such a journal is beneficial because it gives you a tangible record of your progress on personal projects, hobbies, and a space to "talk" about your focused interests without info-dumping on people. There are neurotypicals who don't mind, but it tends to get tiresome for them relatively quickly. Plus, you can share the contents of your journal with fellow auties and aspies who have a higher tolerance for info-dumping, because they most likely do it, too, even if it's not about Phantom, James Bond, or MCU Loki.
