Have Intrusive Thoughts? Try This Technique!

For those of you, who like me, suffer with OCD and/or its tendencies, I've got a effective technique for dealing with those pesky thoughts you don't want. Simply write the thought down (if it's not too uncomfortable for you) on a piece of paper and throw the paper away. By tossing the paper containing the written unwanted thought, you're telling your brain that the thought means nothing to you. I've taken to doing this and it works wonders.
